Etsuko Kono is a 28-year-old woman who loves fashion. Aspiring to become a fashion editor, she joins a publishing company, but is sent to work in copy editing. There, her job is to correct errors and inadequate parts of documents and copies.
Yoneoka and Fujiiwa work on the proofreading of a novel in the quiet proofreading department office when Etsuko is on annual leave and the novel's content becomes real-life footage in their minds.
It's been one year since Etsuko has been transferred to her dream job at the editorial department of the fashion magazine LASSY. However, she has a difficult time accepting the coldhearted ways of the editorial department and the constant jokes about proofreaders.
