Together, the pair embarks on a raft journey down the Mississippi River, staying ahead of pursuers who blame the slave for Huck's alleged murder.

The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne is a 22-episode science fiction television series in the steampunk genre that first aired in June 2000 on CBC Television in Canada and in syndication in the United States. The plot concept is predicated on a vast fictional conspiracy beginning with the revelation that Jules Verne did not merely write the stories behind his famous science fiction classic books Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, Journey to the Center of the Earth or Around the World in Eighty Days — but actually experienced these adventures personally. A television technological historic footnote, this work was the first hour-long series filmed entirely in HDTV format.

There are two surviving, and very different versions - an English language (dubbed) version with 13 x 28 minute episodes and a German language version with 4 x 80 minute episodes. They are very different edits, with different musical soundtracks and many different scenes, which is all of great interest to fans of this series. Both are available on DVD, although sadly the German version does not have English subtitles available (and vice-versa).

A charming comedy about going on a rather long walk. Félix is a laid-back guy living in the bleak northern coastal town of Dieppe. The Adventures of Sam is an animated Australian children's TV series that aired in 1997. Set in the 1850s, it followed a boy named Sam Donahue as he had adventures around the world while trying to find his brother. The show is well known for its theme music by Nerida Tyson-Chew which was nominated for several awards.
