Romeo and Juliet are kids that belong to different worlds, rival groups, and enemy families, but they like each other and can’t help the feeling. To stay together, they have to solve mysteries from the past and face those who they love the most to bring back harmony.

Based on Feng Mengbo's same titled picture book, this slideshow tells a story of the artist, since the year he was born in 1966 to 1979, when he got into middle school. Text is read by the artist himself, and the background music is from his vinyl collections.

Ends with the artist at 14, as his father films his grandfather’s 80th birthday party. “Opa” walks off with a cane, an homage to Chaplin, and ending with the only close-up in the film, a yellow rose.
