A couple of dancers appear one morning in a High School. It's Monday and they announce to a group of youngsters that they have five days to get up on stage and dance. A short time but a big challenge. The dance compels these youngsters to break through their roles exactly at the time of their lives when the social roles are being forged. The handsome boy is no longer the most admired, the timid one takes a step forward. Wilfried van Popple and Amaya Lubeigt are the choreographers. Professional dancers who have decided now to work with people who have never danced before. This is the challenge: five days, a class of teenagers, a microcosm in which occurs a little big bang.

At the end of the Cold War, something new arised that should influence an entire generation and express their attitude to life. It started with an idea in the underground subculture of Berlin shortly before the fall of the Wall. With the motto "Peace, Joy, Pancakes", Club DJ Dr. Motte and companions launched the first Love Parade. A procession registered as political demonstration with only 150 colorfully dressed people dancing to house and techno. What started out small developed over the years into the largest party on the planet with visitors from all over the world. In 1999, 1.5 million people took part. With the help of interviews with important organizers and contemporary witnesses, the documentary reflects the history of the Love Parade, but also illuminates the dark side of how commerce and money business increasingly destroyed the real spirit, long before the emigration to other cities and the Love Parade disaster of Duisburg in 2010, which caused an era to end in deep grief.

Every morning, 12-year-old Wiktor’s grandmother lovingly wakes him up. Once he’s had breakfast and gotten dressed, Wiktor is ready for an intense day at ballet school, where he and his classmates are rehearsing for an important performance. All the proud parents will be sitting in the front row, and while Wiktor’s kind grandmother will of course come, the young dancer is desperately hoping that his father, who lives abroad, will be there, too. Wiktor wants nothing more than to make his father proud.

Tanz der Farben (1939) is by no means a lost film. Created by Hans Fischinger, Oskar’s younger brother, it is considered the last abstract film made in the Third Reich. And it is a worthy swan song. Oskar was experimenting with volume, texture, he tended to have a certain graphical ‘dominant’ in each film. Hans preferred thin lines, sharp angles – which created an effect of a more rough and tense movement with a ‘space resistance’. Tanz der Farben indeed resembles a non-figurative universe living by constantly changing laws. The Gosfilmofond print is quite unique – it is in fact three prints spliced into one, and these prints differ: Hans Fischinger was trying several colour solutions for the same musical sequence.

One day, a handsome young man with amnesia comes to visit his mother at a gay bar. He gives him the name Maya and lets him help out at the store, but his memory never returns. He is good at playing guitar and singing, so maybe he was a musician? That's what he predicts...

The film refers to the fashion of the new American rock and roll dance, which also reached Athens. It is a short film that cost 100,000 drachmas. When Costas Karras appears in the movie, he says that it is a "rock and roll" competition in which he won an electric guitar and that his partner Katerina Helmi was a top performer at that time.

A small radio can disrupt family life and lead to the disappearance of folk culture.

In a living room, four contemporary couples from the time the film was shot dance a waltz under the direction of a violinist (Linder). They begin a minuet and their costumes change in a sudden. A man enters and seems interested in what he sees, casts a spell and everything disappears. Transforming himself into the devil, the visitor takes the violinist with him to hell, where he creates a large piece of silk out of a cauldron. The fabric unrolls, revealing a young woman in a silk dress that starts dancing the serpentine. While she dances, other women join in a synchronized ballet, before all of them vanish into bursts of flames.
