The Dance is a 1962 French comedy film directed by Norbert Carbonnaux and starring Jean-Pierre Cassel, Françoise Dorléac and Arletty. The film is based on the French comic strip 13 rue de l'Espoir.

Members of Kanna's university dance circle got together for the first time in a few years to celebrate the engagement of Kanna and Masao. Suspicion arises that Kanna and another member had sex, leading to fights and arguments between friends.

Even though she is in great shape and only 36, the dancer Skye Rhodan is confronted with the approaching end of her career and the question of what she wants to do next in her life. Skye doesn't want to accept that she should only dance in the second division because of her age.

However, he doesn't want to sleep with her because she used to be his crush and he'd been waiting to see her in his dreams and in real life. He is afraid sleeping with her will make him lose her. Will he sleep with her or continue to live with her like this?

Annabelle (Whitford) Moore performs one of her popular dances. For this performance, her costume has a pair of wings attached to her back, to suggest a butterfly. As she dances, she uses her long, flowing skirts to create visual patterns.

Nikita, talented young dancer, enters Let's Dance competition to earn money for his brother's surgery but a brief encounter with a famous singer Liza, who hosts the competition, puts his chances of winning and even life at risk.
