Discreetly infiltrates into the kitchens of Quebec’s family and capture the unique spirit of each households as they cook, eat and share their lives at the kitchen table.

Yvonne Nguyen, a French-Vietnamese actress, dreams of a successful career in musicals, to the great displeasure of her mother, who would like her to pursue a more serious path. When she has no choice but to move back to her mother’s, both women are strangers to each other. But in the intimacy of the Vietnamese family restaurant’s kitchen, they grow closer. Meanwhile, Yvonne is still after her dreams and finally gets the chance to audition for a big show.

A mix of professional chefs and passionate home cooks compete in a series of creative cooking challenges, earning cash in their bank for every dish that impresses the Chef while attempting to expose an undercover mole (the rat) determined to sabotage the dishes and undermine their chances at victory.

Two inseparable friends move to Kyoto to chase their dreams of becoming maiko, but decide to pursue different passions while living under the same roof.

A love story from a woman's point of view and set in the Republican era, the main character is an upright girl named Qingzan who wants to become a police officer. The story follows her struggle to achieve her dream and shows how she never wavers in the face of doubts, temptations and difficulties.
