Escape Into Night

Marianne is in bed after falling from her horse. She occupies herself by doodling in a sketch book, drawing a boy inside a bare house. When Marianne falls asleep, she finds herself outside the very house that she drew.

In Nazi-occupied Rome, a beautiful bootlegger, to the chagrin of her lover, gives sanctuary to three escaped POWs: an American pilot, a Russian sergeant and a British major.

(Ahmed) returns from abroad after obtaining a doctorate in philosophy, disappointing his father, who wanted him to study business administration to take over the management of the institution he owns, and marries Noura and his cousin Najwa, and is accused of killing the latter, so he escapes to Egypt and falls prey to a drug gang.
