Savvas is a doorman in a fashionable Athens club, but after years of nightlife he is going through his “midlife crisis” at 30! On Christmas Eve he meets Lia, the daughter of an infamous big businessman, whom Savvas sees as his “other half”. A confirmed atheist up till now, Savvas starts to interpret various coincidences as divine signs. When he decides that Lia’s father is to blame for her S&M proclivities, God arms his hand with a 45mm gun.

The Faces of Parkinson shows the people who suffer from Parkinson's disease and the impact it made on their life and people around and close to them. As it also asks the question how one continues to stay positive with such a destructive disease.

Lau Lauritzen plays an ordinary architect, with a wife and a son. He gets accused for killing a 10-year old girl, and of course nobody doubts he's the one. Even his wife and his uncle has trouble believing him, but at least they don't tell him.

Korea, the now: A young man makes a fateful encounter with a stranger he passionately falls in love with. When Unk rides his scooter through the night he fails to notice a drunk pedestrian, a man called Boaz, and hits him. The accident has unforeseen repercussions since shortly afterwards Unk and Boaz start an intense relationship that leads into a gradually worsening dependency.

On a dark and stormy night, Liu Ling (Tao Hui) finds three corpses suspected of being murdered in a hut. She becomes terrified and wants to escape, but a black phantom slowly climbed up behind her, never to be seen again. Many years later, Liu Tian (Wang Cheng) brings friends Fang Wenqing (Wu Qijiang) and Ye Zi (Zhao Shijin) and others came to the ghost village again to find the whereabouts of his sister Liu Ling. There is an unnamed monument at the entrance of the village. At nightfall, a series of horrible things happened. The next day, everyone saw Liu Tian in front of the stele. It turned out that he suspected whether his sister was buried under the stele. Liu Tian came to the haunted house where his sister had an accident and found her sister's skeleton. That night Liu Tian kept having nightmares and his spirit collapsed. From then on, every night in the dead of night, a ghost with only a head, a face, and no body would appear next to their pillows. Can they still leave here?

Realized on the occasion of one of my photographic exhibitions of the same title dedicated to the Etruscans of Volterra. I intended to bring alive the funerary faces on sarcophagi, that, curiously, in shape resembled tv sets. I shot faces in color of living acquaintances in order to superimpose them on marble faces of dead people unknown to me, trying to give them an identity like those of the living. Using a battery of devices composed of a Super-8 projector, a 16mm projector and another one for slides, I rephotographed everything with a video camera directly on a unique screen effervescing with three cones of images in color, in black and white and at various speeds. The dissolves, both manual and non-manual, are manual in the proper sense of done by hand, mine and those of others; they were added simultaneously, to create variable human shutters.

Panji Tengkorak tells the story of Panji, a master in the dark arts of silat (Indonesian martial art), who is searching for the person who had killed his wife. In his journey, Panji always disguises himself as a beggar and wears a skull mask. Even though he looked cruel, Panji is a good and loyal man.

A marginal guy, Tony, returns from America and, in a nightclub, he meets his old love, who has become a prostitute for his sake, abandoning her husband and child. Tony tries to take advantage of his friend's daughter, who is about to get married to a rich young man.

In Chile, people who live with HIV fear stigma and exclusion, and often conceal their condition and remain silent about what they are and have been going through. Esta es mi Cara – This is My Face explores what happens when a group of men living with the virus open up about the chronic disease that changed their life trajectories. The film follows a creative process whereby the protagonists produce photographic portraits that represent their (often painful) memories and feelings, a process that helps them challenge years of silence, shame, and misrepresentations. A lesson in the power of collaborative storytelling.

First film of the Bannai Tarao series starring Chiezo Kataoka

Abdul Jabbar Khan directed this trailblazer in the history of our cinema. In 1953, at a cultural programme, a non-Bangalee movie producer remarked, "The climate of this land is not fit for making movies." A worked up Jabbar decided to make a movie based on his play Dakaat right away. Making the movie was a challenge itself. The actors and most of the crewmembers had no experience in film; the shooting came to a standstill more than once due to floods. It took two years to wrap up the whole shooting process. The negative was then taken to Lahore for editing and printing and Jabbar was given a hard time there regarding the processing and bringing the final prints home. Eventually the movie starring Purnima, Ali Mansoor, Najma and others, saw the light of day on August 3, 1956 and we got our first "talkie."
