Saida, a young executive in a big company, meets Hamid, a 35-year-old computer scientist. They decide to get married, convinced both to have made the right choice. After a few years of happiness and stability, their marriage begins to rock.

Nari and Sok make a promise to marry very soon, but prince Thamavong abducts the young woman to be his wife. While Sok tries to take back his beloved, the first wife of polygamous prince makes a very sad plan.

Also called "Rain Drop's Fate" or "Like The Falling Raindrops", Như Hạt Mưa Sa is a black and white film based on the novel of the same name by the late writer Ngọc Linh made by Việt Ảnh Film. Bạch Tuyết played the role of Dã Lan with Trần Quang, the painter Thuyên, and Thẩm Thúy Hằng played the roles of Yến and Dung (twin sisters), Đoàn Châu Mậu, Tony Hiếu, Tùng Lâm... The film was made in 1971.
