Happy Seven

Amano Sakogami is a girl who has an unnatural amount of bad luck. One day, she stumbles into the clubroom of the Better Fortune Research Organization, which consists of a boy and seven other girls who secretly use the power of the luck deities to fight against the Magatsugami, monsters who can affect a person's luck & well-being.

In a dilapidated mansion under heavy debts, there are two heaven-sent marriages across social classes, three young women and four brothers.

The film is based on the best choreographic numbers from the performances of the Leningrad Music Hall, songs of pop stars and romances performed by popular singers. The concert numbers are united by the storyline of the participation of all performers in the filming of a musical comedy film.

Zbynek Brynych's forgotten masterpiece "Oh Happy Day" is best described as coming-of-age-psychedelia.
