New Japan Pro Wrestling is a Japanese promotion founded by Antonio Inoki in 1972. Owing to its TV program aired on TV Asahi, it is the largest wrestling promotion in Japan and one of the largest in the world.

Originally founded by Antonio Inoki in 1972, New Japan Pro Wrestling, also known as "Shin Nihon Puroresu", is considered the top promotion in Japan and is comparable to WWE in the United States in terms of popularity in the country. They promote events throughout Japan with their biggest event being their annual blowout show held every year on January 4 at the Tokyo Dome, currently billed as Wrestle Kingdom, which is Japan's version of WWE's annual WrestleMania event.

Wrestle Kingdom 18 in Tokyo Dome was a professional wrestling event promoted by the New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). The event took place on January 4, 2024, at the Tokyo Dome, in Tokyo, Japan. It was the 33rd January 4 Tokyo Dome Show and the 18th promoted under the Wrestle Kingdom name. Wrestlers from NJPW partner promotions All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and Pro Wrestling Noah (Noah) were also featured at the event. This will be the first Wrestle Kingdom event to feature Hiroshi Tanahashi as the new president of New Japan Pro-Wrestling.

The 2023 Forbidden Door is the upcoming second annual Forbidden Door professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event and supershow co-produced by the American promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and the Japan-based New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). It will take place on June 25, 2023, at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Wrestle Kingdom 17 - Night 1 was a professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by the New Japan Pro-Wrestling promotion. The event took place on January 4, 2023, at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan.

Power Struggle (2013) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) promoted by New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW). The event took place on November 9, 2013, in Osaka, Osaka, at the Bodymaker Colosseum and featured ten matches (including one dark match), five of which were contested for championships. It was the third event under the Power Struggle name.

As NJPW rounds the corner into the last week of the New Year’s Golden Seriers, action hits Osaka on February 13, hitting EDION Arena for the first time in 2022 with an appropriately big main event.
