One has become a drummer in a rap/rock band. The other has killed forty-four people and is now in jail. Both use the term "Wicked Souls" to describe their enemies.

A dozen years before hostilities broke out between Britain and Germany, members of their respective royal families visited the Cork Exhibition together on 8 May 1902. They are shown here inspecting one of its most imposing visual highlights: the gigantic water chute, which cost £3,000 to construct (nearer £300,000 today), as well as a police parade and more leisurely boating activities.

Win is a middle-aged guy from a rich family who has never had to work until his grandmother forces him to run a coffee shop. Nat is a hardworking and tomboyish girl who is often mistaken for a guy. She pretends to be male to get a job at the coffee shop but she and Win gradually begin to develop feelings for each other.

The weakening emperor pressures Prince Ning Xiao to marry the Prime Minister's daughter. Ning Xiao, refusing and planning to escape, is pursued by assassins but is saved by Bai Zhi. As they travel together, Ning Xiao and Bai Zhi develop a deep bond. Meanwhile, political intrigue and suspicions about a princess’s identity intensify the unfolding drama.
