A Guerra Finita

Scenes of wars, from World War II to the refugee camps of the 6-Day War, from the attack on the Mostar bridge to the cars set on fire in the war in Syria.

Their son had disappeared on the front two years ago. When he finally calls them at home, they want to forget the suffering of the past. It is an allegory about the human need for past, present, and future.

Diego is one of the chiefs of the Spanish Communist Party. On his way from Madrid to Paris, he is arrested at the border for an ID check but manages to get free. When he arrives in Paris, he starts searching for one of his comrade to prevent him from going to Madrid where he could be arrested.
