Fictional Documentary. A dancer in one of the paintings by Edgar Degas one day stepped out of the canvas, conquers the world and disappears during the carnival in Rio; mix of the academic universe, avant-gard art and the underworld sex scene. The movie was shot in Paris, NY and RJ.

The small town of Ponte Nova was stage to several historic moments in Brazilian history, none about itself.

Produced as the final project of the Journalism course at PUC-SP, the film exceeded expectations and was shown on TV Cultura and at various festivals and exhibitions. The directors interviewed and followed musicians such as Milton Nascimento, Lô Borges, Beto Guedes, Wagner Tiso, Toninho Horta, and others throughout the year. In addition to the stories told by the movement's protagonists, the documentary is filled with a rich research material of historical images.

With archive footage and testimonials from former filmgoers, a story of movie theaters that were located on the avenues of São João and Ipiranga and its surroundings, in São Paulo's city centre. Known as Cinelândia Paulistana, this area lived its heyday in the 1950s, reaching more than 15 cinemas in full operation.
