Alaska L Aventure à Skis

Jake Barnes and his two kids, Sean and Jessie, have moved to Alaska after his wife died. He is a former airline pilot now delivering toilet paper across the mountains. During an emergency delivery in a storm his plane goes down somewhere in the mountains. Annoyed that the authorities aren't doing enough, Jessie and Sean set out on an adventure to find their father with the help of a polar bear which they have saved from a ferocious poacher. Conflict ensues.

Maurizio Belli and Fulvio Giovannini set themselves a challenge : skiing over the Alaska during the winter. First, they wanted to cross from Fort Yukon to Anchorage for a 1300 kilometers journey. But they will quickly endure unexpected weather conditions. High temperatures, due to global warming, melt snow and permafrost, making their progression more and more difficult.

This movie chronicles Jack London's epic journey from San Francisco to the Klondike gold fields in 1898.
