Bathory is based on the legends surrounding the life and deeds of Countess Elizabeth Bathory known as the greatest murderess in the history of mankind. Contrary to popular belief, Elizabeth Bathory was a modern Renaissance woman who ultimately fell victim to men’s aspirations for power and wealth.

The Blood Countess and her maid take us on a wild hunt for blood and secrets from times gone by. On their adventurous journey, they desperately search for the precious lifeblood while also uncovering the dark history of their ancestors. But suddenly a mysterious book appears that poses a threat to their vampire kingdom. As they are pursued by their vegetarian nephew, his psychotherapist, two vampirologists and a tenacious police inspector and his assistant, things spiral out of control.

Countess Bathory sends her young cousin Nora to procure for her sexual and sadistic pleasures noble maidens and pays her handsomely. But Nora is greedy and while the Countess occupies herself with her victims at another castle, Nora and her soldiers raid a village and kidnap a group of peasant women. Training them in noble ways she introduces one of them to the Countess as a Baroness. The Countess discovers the lie and Nora meets her fate.

Under the tutelage of her aunt, the beautiful and evil Klara, the young Elizabeth Bathory has an awakening that leads to mass mayhem and a lifetime of sinful deadly deeds.
