Georges' dream is to go find Julie in the West. Patrick's dream is to find the mythical West of his novels. They leave together.

Hans, Heidi, Mario, Martina and Frank are of different ages and from different walks of life but share a nostalgia for the GDR. 30 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall, they tell us about their disappointments, their discomfort and the still vibrant memory of this past time.

Documentary on the work accomplished by five architecture students. Their project, to renovate a street in Montreal, helped by the residents themselves. A film that could inspire salutary lessons to those who wish to work with the underprivileged social classes in large cities.

Presented in 2 parts, this 83 minute piece documents Wieder-Atherton's idea to do a set of pieces from across central and eastern Europe, including Russia. Some weren't originally written for cello, but she had them transcribed. Some were songs for voices, which goes with Wieder-Atherton saying in an earlier film she made with Chantal Akerman that she aspires to play the cello in a way that it carries the specificity of emotion of the human voice. She explains at the beginning of both parts how she feels each country in the region has it's own personality expressed in its music, coming from its individual history and culture, but that each land in the area is also 'impregnated' as she puts it, by the others, so there are certain elements that run throughout.

Mr Wolf has just enjoyed a fine dinner. Replete, he goes off for a walk around the forest, just to make sure that everyone can see that he is indeed the strongest creature around! Until he meets a tiny little toad-like thing.

Through a journey across Europe, starting in Rennes, finishing in Saint-Petersburg, a team of young documentarists spontaneously and poetically engage with an experience of culture, languages and borders. The camera follows Tao, a blooming artist travelling by the means of her skateboard. Along the way they make insightful encounters and live unique experiences, through a variety of colours, landscapes, creative initiatives and incredible mouvements coming to sight progressively within their journey. This summer tale is an individual challenge, taking place through the lives of different encounters bringing out a single poetic line, a movement. Under the humble wheels of a skateboard hides a tribute to the old continent. Overall, questioning the individuality, the mass, and moreover, us, the European youth.

Two women and a transvestite gay man cross paths in this French Canadian drama. The transvestite is preparing for a drag-queen beauty pageant, and has decided to present himself as Cleopatra. Of the two women, one was just fired from her waitressing job and seeks to go back to work at the nightclub where the beauty pageant is to be held. The other woman's mother has just won one million food stamps.

This is a document that Pantelis Voulgaris filmed illegally during the years of the dictatorship. More specifically, it includes images from the funeral of George Papandreou, which developed into the first major popular anti-dictatorship event. The film was completed in Paris thanks to the Greeks abroad who showed it at political gatherings against the Junta.

This film from the heart of the desert shows the conflict between the Algerians and the Moroccans at El Aioun, and the Saharan resistance of the Polisario Front. A never ending story which is still one of the reasons for the conflict between Algeria and Morocco.

This short film is part of the clandestine dialogues of the Nicolas Klotz and Élisabeth Perceval’s 2015 feature, “Ceremony”.
