Phantom was one of the greatest American jets ever built. It was flown by numerous air forces round the world including the RA, the Royal Navy and all three US forces. This program features interviews with the US aces from Vietnam and footage of the last days of the Phantom in service in Britain.

The Avro Vulcan was the world's first large delta-wing strike aircraft. It entered service as a V-bomber with the RAF's Bomber Command squadrons in July 1957 with the capability to carry a 21,000 lb conventional bomb load - or an atomic bomb. The larger, more powerful B2 version, capable of flying 46,000 miles without refueling, appeared in 1960. Vulcans remained in service until 1984, after seeing combat duty in The Falklands, and until 1992 they were the star attraction at airshows throughout Britain.

When Britain's world-beating TSR2 project was scrapped, orders were given to destroy all the film records. However, much was hidden away in secret. The makers of this unique film were given exclusive access to that hidden original film archive material. Much of this is in pristine condition and includes stunning air to air sequences of the TSR2 in flight, take offs and the first flight.
