A documentary about the Austro-British photographer Edith Tudor-Hart, Tracking Edith follows filmmaker Peter Stephan Jungk’s journey to understand the motivations of his great aunt who, while living a double life as a spy for the KGB, recruited Kim Philby and helped create the Cambridge Five, the Soviet Union’s most successful spy ring in the United Kingdom, which infiltrated the very top of British intelligence (and inspired John le Carré’s Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy). As Jungk learns more about his aunt and her work, his film demands the question: why is she not recognized alongside Kim Philby and the Cambridge Five as one of the spies that changed the world?

These pinhole photographs are taken by Anonymous Bosch and document a 108 mile walk in 5 days from Waltham Abbey to Leonards-on- Sea.

This documentary about legendary French chanteuse Edith Piaf begins at her birth (which was helped along by a cop), travels through her turbulent romantic history, follows her to the pinnacle of her success and reports on her death. Piaf was queen of the torch song, her plaintive wail speaking volumes of the tragedy and joy she'd faced. Hers wasn't exactly, in the words of one of her famous songs, "La Vie En Rose," but it was quite a life.

Two-volume programme featuring the woman widely regarded as France's greatest ever popular singer. An hour long documentary on Piaf's life and career is accompanied by live performances of her most popular songs, including 'La Vie en Rose' and 'Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien'. A compilation of 17 of her songs, all recorded live in various concerts, is edited together to produce 'The Perfect Concert'.

Edith Piaf is generally regarded as France's greatest ever popular singer and was the most popular French performer from the thirties right through to her early death in 1963. She has remained hugely influential ever since and this concert at Montreux in 2004 is a testament to her enduring popularity even 40 years after her death. Backed by a small jazz ensemble led by pianist Baptiste Trotignan, local stars Michael von der Heide, Régine and Catherine Ringer are joined by international artists Ute Lemper, Barbara Morrison and Angélique Kidjo to pay homage to "The Little Sparrow" as Piaf was affectionately known.

In 1998 Edith Stein (1891-1942) was canonised by Pope John Paul II. A German philosopher of Jewish descent, Stein converted to Catholicism in 1922 and lived as nun in the Carmelite Convent of Echt in the south of the Netherlands. During World War II she was deported and died in Auschwitz. Director Frederieke Jochems worked for nine years to bring Edith Stein's story to life and to illuminate the controversy surrounding the canonisation. Featuring Holocaust survivor Max Hamburger, Carmelite nun Maria Amate Neyer, Stein’s American niece Susanne Batzdorff, feminist theologian Thalia Gur-Klein, American philosophy professor Marianne Sawicki, secretary of the Edith Stein comittee Jenny Stassen-Muyrers, Rabbi Tzvi Marx, assistant bishop Everard de Jong and Catholic theologian Marcel Poorthuis.

Edith Head presents some of her famous designs using glamorous models to impersonate Mae West, Barbara Stanwyck, Dorothy Lamour, Ginger Rogers, Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor and Grace Kelly. They move to the music of the films for which she was the designer as Head recalls the times and places that served as inspiration for the famed looks.
