Geronimo is a 1993 TNT television movie starring Joseph Runningfox in the title role. First Nations actor Jimmy Herman appeared in this motion picture as the Old Geronimo. It also features Apache/Mexican actor Adan Sanchez who was later on the PBS series Wishbone. It debuted on television five days before the theatrical release of Geronimo: An American Legend. It was shot in Tucson, Arizona.

Moore, the future star of the television series The Lone Ranger, was here billed "Clay Moore."

Famed romantic filmmaker Frederick Curtis is shooting a film about Geronimo just outside the Long Horn Saloon. Frustrated with the unconvincing performances of his lead actor, he pulls another young sexy Cree man into the role. Jealousy ensues as Curtis alternately gushes over the two Cree boys as he manipulates them into broad Hollywood caricatures. A “Lonesome Rider” intercedes, teasing the action to a tragic twist, which forces the boys to take control of Curtis’ film.

Going undercover as the notorious "Waco Kid," U.S. Army Captain Jeff Packard manages to infiltrate a gang of gold-shipment thieves lead by nasty Walt Anderson. But Anderson and his gang are not the only troublemakers around: Packard must also contend with Geronimo and his Apache warriors, who are demanding guns in exchange for peace.
