Michael Emerson (David Lee) is a henpecked husband who lives with a controlling wife, Phyllis (Debbie D) and is divorced from his first wife, Samantha (Laura Giglio) who took him to the cleaners in their divorce. His only solace is the beautiful barmaid, Isabelle (Tracey Lixx) who loves him. At work, Mike finds a mysterious ring left at his desk by an unknown benefactor. The ring gives him the power to control anyone to do exactly what he wants. And he uses its power to get his revenge on both his wife and ex-wife. They watch a film where a hypnotist commands his victim to "Bark like a dog". Bobby tries to hypnotise his pet and tells him to "Bark like a dog". He does so and they are thrown out of the theatre. They are kicked so hard that they fly through the window of a tram. Bobby then hypnotises the conductor into believing that they had paid their fare and indeed that the conductor owes them change. The conductor gives them some money. Bobby has a good laugh about their scams.

Polidor is a hypochondriac, so he goes to a hypnotist to have his neuroses dealt with. The hypnotist uses a feather to to hypnotize him, but doesn't turn it off properly, so Polidor goes into a trance on sighting anything with feathers. This means that he leans over in an impossible looking pose, and walks on.

While treating a policewoman for smoking, hypnotherapist Michael Strother has a telepathic vision of a young girl floating beneath the surface of a stream.
