1970s. From her high mountain village, 15-year-old Jeanne dreams of leaving her childhood orphanage and discovering the world. Fleeing to the city of lights, she finds refuge in a shed. In the morning, the Snow Queen appears to her, dazzling. The shed turns out to be a studio where a film adapted from the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale, The Snow Queen, is being shot. Cristina, the star, who embodies the Queen, reigns supreme on the set. Fascinated by this cruel woman with a disturbing charm, both powerful and vulnerable, Jeanne becomes her protege and her confidante as the trap closes in on her.

France, the beginning of the XIV century. Every night, Queen Margaret of Burgundy and her two sisters arrange orgies, to which beautiful nobles are invited. The young men were brought blindfolded, and after a night of love they were killed and their corpses thrown into the river, because the queen was afraid that her husband would learn about her adventures. During the reign of King Louis X the Hutin, his wife Marguerite indulged in parties of pleasure in the secrecy of the Tour de Nesle. Her young lovers were also her victims, and she had them murdered to avoid detection. Such was the fate that awaited Philippe d'Aulnay, who had barely arrived in Paris and who, in one night, had gone from the arms of the sovereign to the bottom of the Seine. What the queen doesn't know is that among his companions in debauchery that night was a certain Buridan. An adventurer, ready to do anything to conquer money and power - including blackmailing the Queen of France... This is the beginning of a merciless war between these two beings, with one spectacular turn of events after another, horrifying revelations and the crossfire of hatred and love.
