The lives of staff in the womens' health clinic of a fictitious hospital in Philadelphia.

Alice, a widowed Frenchwoman, goes on a vacation to Italy. Upon her return, she relates the particulars of her holiday. Within a 24-hour time frame, Alice gets on the wrong boat, winds up in Switzerland where she whiles away the hours at a casino, meets a handsome young German army deserter named Thomas, spends the night with her new acquaintance, pays his sizeable gambling debts, and helps him elude the authorities...

In the vibrant African neighborhood of Château d'Eau in Paris, Charles is the smoothest of all the hustlers. His job: to fill the districts numerous hair salons with customers. But when the competition is tough and everybody’s trying hard to be number one, dirty tricks are just around the corner.

Based on research by Ariane Chemin, this documentary tells the story of how French soldier Félix Mora recruited young Moroccans en masse for the mines of industrial France in the 1960s and 1970s as the French economy was booming. This recruitment led to a new generation of working-class French citizens through immigration.

Jean-Marie is the eldest son of a large family, of which the Dutch father bought a mountain in the French Pyrenees in 1948. Now he is a pastor for 25 villages located in the area. Jean-Marie speaks of the harsh rejection by the great love of his youth in the village of Olette, his subsequent taking of the cloth as well as his spiritual love for his neighbour later in life. With his simplicity, openness and humour he manages to move us all. At the age of 75, he makes a drastic decision that leaves everyone baffled. Jean Paoli recently betrothed to Evelyne Desprez, his boss's daughter, gets tuberculosis and has to go away to get rest and fresh air. He leaves for Corsica and has to break his engagement. He is then invited to his cousin's wedding, Catalina. But the groom's father objects to the union. A vendetta is declared and, soon afterwards, the groom is found dead on the road to Ajaccio, murdered by Michel, Catalina's father, who then hides in the maquis. Jean decides to join him there and his health gets better. One day, Michel is mortally wounded by the police and Jean learns that his father died too. He, Jacques and Catalina travel back to Paris so that his mother is not left alone. He finds that Evelyne took a new fiancé, Max Carlier, who surrenders after a fight. Evelyne and Jean get married.

In fact, the man who became known as Buddha-term comes from Sanskrit and means lit-was Siddhartha Gautama, son of King Suddhodan born about the year 566 BC in a village at the foot of the Himalayas. The family of the future Buddha belonged to the Sakya tribe, hence the nickname of Sakyamuni. In the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal is still Buddhist Sakya tribe which has been transmitted orally for thousands of years the story of Siddhartha. This documentary takes us to the same places where he spent his life confronting legends, recent archaeological discoveries and historical sources.

Two bank employees like Lucie, their colleague. They steal money from the cash register to gamble. Jean wins and Paul ends up in prison for five years. When he leaves, he discovers that Jean has become a businessman and that he has married Lucie.

"La Vie au Bout des Doigts" is a documentary film by Jean-Paul Janssen released in 1982, directing Patrick Edlinger totally living his passion, climbing, which he practices here solo ("with bare hands"), it that is, without a rope or any kind of insurance. The film begins with a session of solo sea crossings on the Piade site near Toulon. In the second part, Patrick Edlinger trains in Buoux before carving a solo route in this now famous climbing site. This mythical film in more than one way is considered the first climbing film, that is to say where climbing is an activity in itself and not a means of preparing for mountaineering. His media success was such that he propelled Patrick Edlinger to the rank of world star, and above all he made climbing known to the general public, and was even nominated for the César for best documentary short film.

Julien is a young director, during a trip to study the pre-production of his next film, he meets Alice. A strong friendship ensues. A strange encounter will suddenly shake up the daily life of the two characters.
