An assassin sets out on a modern day witch hunt.
When an indecisive people pleaser is running late for the world’s busiest day, his misguided decisions escalate towards a single choice that risks everything he holds dear.
At the dawn of the 20th century, the fastest mode of transportation was the iron horse. Most people preferred to ride the flesh and blood variety on America's 144 miles of paved road. If God had wanted men to fly, he'd have given them wings. One American home in thirteen had a phone, one in seven sported a bathtub. A newfangled invention, radio, was sure to catch on one day. We wonder, how could so much happen in only a hundred years? The 20th century set the stage for the fulfillment of Bible prophecies that will soon come to their ultimate conclusion. How much time is left? What will happen? How will it all turn out? Join Hal Lindsey and Cliff Ford on a walk through the past and learn how it provides a blueprint into the future. The nightly news will never be the same again.

The Making Of Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds
In the early years of US television, a new form of entertainment was created: the late night talk show. Steve Allen was the first of his kind and he was noted for its wacky comedy and willingness to engage in crazy stunts. It was also a showcase for African-American performers such as Cab Calloway and Count Basie. He was succeeded in 1957 by Jack Paar, a skilled interviewer who got his start in radio and brought the art of conversation to the small screen. Johnny Carson followed as the next and undoubtedly most popular host of the show. He agreed somewhat reluctantly and became a TV staple for the next 30 years. His success led to many others trying their hand at the format, some successfully, including Merv Griffin, Joey Bishop and Dick Cavett.

Volume 3 of 'The Johnny Carson Collection' - The Best of the '80s & '90s. Some of today's top comedy stars made their Tonight debuts around this time. Roseanne Arnold was just a Domestic-Goddess-in-Training when she first appeared on the show. Other great comics like Steve Martin, George Carlin, and Albert Brooks continued to visit, and I'm delighted with their success. This volume reminds me that our batting average with talking or singing birds was not good. Once they got in front of the lights, they clammed up like captured spies - except Pancho the Parrot. This month of May, 1992, was an emotional one for all of us. Many friends dropped in to say goodbye. The program of May 21, 1992, provided some electric moments. My final guest was Bette Midler, and the memory of that night will be with me forever. I hope you enjoy all the fond memories in this volume.
