A silhouette retelling the fairy tale
The adventure of Little Red Riding Hood is one of the most classic fairy tales, which grew generations.
Little Red Riding Hood: When a young girl with a red cape encounters a wolf in the woods, she learns the hard way that nothing good comes out of talking to strangers. Goldilocks: When a spoiled little girl goes to the house of the three bears without permission, she will soon get a surprise of her life when the bears come home from their walk.
In this retelling of the fairy tale, everyone is sexually charged. Little Red ventures through the woods to visit her grandmother, who seduces the wolf when he comes to her house. The wolf and Little Red, grandma and the woodsman, and Little Red's mom and the milkman are just a few of the pairings. The basket of goodies goes ignored.
A classic tale retold with Harryhausen's trademark animation. Preserved by the Academy Film Archive in 2004.

Everyone knows the story of Little Red Riding Hood. But who has ever thought about the real events behind the story? Where Rosie’s dear old Granny lived, for instance, and whether the Big Bad Wolf was really killed by the Woodsman. Certainly not the ramshackle troupe of travelling actors who roll into a town in the middle of nowhere one day to perform their take on the story. Nothing seems to be going right for them, but they have no idea just how bad things are about to get.
Short, cheap adaptation of the famed fairytale with a modern ecological twist.
With their captivating stories about maidens, witches, trolls and talking animals, word-wise German siblings Jakob and Wilhelm Grimm -- better known as the Brothers Grimm -- revolutionized the world of children's literature. This animated tale, adapted from the Grimms' "Little Red Riding Hood," tells the story of a crimson-caped girl who disobeys her mother and ends up in the arms of a wolf. A bonus feature, "The Goosemaiden," is also included.
