With a combination of documentary footage and animation, the science and history of rockets, and the effects of space travel on man are illustrated.

An upholsterer who is preparing a rocket for takeoff accidentally jettisons himself into space and returns to Earth 500 years later with an alien companion who wishes to learn more about the human race.

G-Man and his arch-nemesis, the evil G-Head, have been enemies for ages. To fight against G-Head's wicked schemes, G-man assembles a team of heroes from various eras.
