On Christmas Eve, we want everything to be perfect, yet things often go sideways. The holidays are a reality check for everyone, whether life is looking bright or dark. This Christmas, the residents of one Parisian apartment building are going to share an unforgettable holiday. They hardly know one another, only exchanging brief greetings when heading to work or taking out the trash. But this year, when neighbors who are jazzed-up, or depressed, or awed by the magic of Christmas find themselves thrown together, sparks will start flying.

Former classmates Lina and Max are traveling home for the holidays, until a storm hits and they have to work together to make it home in time, no matter the mode of transportation.

Billy Jackson is not having a good Christmas. He got a basketball for Christmas and just cannot make a jump shot. His Uncle David is coming to town to open a ValueMall, which will put his Dad's store out of business. When he tells his little sister Sarah that there is no Santa, she makes a wish that it would be Christmas every day. Billy now has to relive Christmas Day over and over again.
