First broadcast by ABC on May 12, 1960, Welcome Home Elvis was Frank Sinatra s fourth and final Timex special. It marked Elvis Presley s first TV appearance after coming home from military service. Elvis performs Fame And Fortune and Stuck On You whilst Presley and Sinatra join forces on great renditions of Witchcraft and Love Me Tender. Joining in the fun is the one and only Sammy Davis Jr. who delivers songs from Porgy And Bess, celebrity impersonations and a dancing contest with Peter Lawford.

A Man And His Music + Ella + Jobim, was the third annual A Man And His Music special. It finds Frank paired with the incomparable Ella Fitzgerald. It is a truly historic and memorable event that showcases iconic performances from Frank and Ella, while also documenting the only filmed meeting of Frank and bossa nova legend Antonio Carlos Jobim. Francis Albert Sinatra Does His Thing opens with no introduction, just Sinatra. He is joined by the stunning Diahann Carroll and together they sing a spirituals medley including Nobody Knows The Trouble I ve Seen and Amen. Sinatra joins other guests, The 5th Dimension, for a version of Sweet Blindness . Sinatra is truly a one man show with the singer joined only by Don Costa & his Orchestra and no special guests. Being the last of his five sixties TV specials, his wit and banter is as engaging as ever as he narrates us through his movie clips with a lighthanded touch.

After a brief flash-forward to Frank Sinatra as an old man, saying "I miss my guys," the movie's main narrative begins during high points in the solo careers of the Rat Pack: Dean Martin has become a big success despite the breakup of his partnership with Jerry Lewis; Sinatra's career is at its peak; Sammy Davis, Jr., is making a comeback after a near fatal car crash, and standup comic Joey Bishop is gaining exposure as an opening act for the other three. The Pack becomes complete when Sinatra reconciles with actor Peter Lawford, who has been ostracized since being seen out publicly with Sinatra's ex-wife, Ava Gardner.

The concert was organized by Harold Gibbons and Frank Sinatra as a fundraiser for Dismas Clark Half-Way House of St. Louis, the first halfway house for ex-convicts. Johnny Carson, in the third year of his Tonight Show stint took the place of Joey Bishop who was ill as the MC and 4th member of the Rat Pack.
