A production company begins casting for its next feature, and an up-and-coming actress named Rose tries to manipulate her filmmaker boyfriend, Alex, into giving her a screen test. Alex's wife, Emma, knows about the affair and is considering divorce, while Rose's girlfriend secretly spies on her and attempts to sabotage the relationship. The four storylines in the film were each shot in one take and are shown simultaneously, each taking up a quarter of the screen.

Different parts of this one picture, based on similar forms, allow us to discover secret movements.The people in the picture eat, dance, discuss and argue, until finally all are silenced. Timecode is a 2016 Spanish live-action short film directed by Juanjo Giménez. Luna and Diego are the parking lot security guards. Diego does the night shift, and Luna works by day. One day, Luna's boss asks her to investigate a broken tail light. It won the Short Film Palme d'Or award at 69th annual Cannes Film Festival in 2016. It is also nominated for an Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film at the 89th Academy Awards in 2017.
