Tom

Tom, 11 years old, lives in a trailer home on the edge of the woods with Joss, his young mother. The two of them support each other and show unwavering optimism. While Joss is away working small jobs, Tom keeps himself occu- pied. One day, a young man fresh out of prison breaks into their home and their lives, and disrupts the equilibrium.

Tom Stone is a crime drama series that ran in Canada on CBC Television for two 13-episode seasons beginning in 2002. In the United States, the series is syndicated by Program Partners and Sony Pictures Television under the title Stone Undercover. It is listed on Hulu as "Stone Undercover."

Born with their immune systems damaged, Tom and Lola are doomed to live their lives in isolation, sealed in separate plastic bubbles. However, neither cold urethane nor chillier hospital technicians can keep down the beguiling spirit of these indomitable siblings.
