Taped in the communities of Rogers, Springdale, De Queen and Wickes, this documentary centers on the experiences of four families; one of them well-established and the other three just starting out in Arkansas. The AETN crew spent almost a year filming in these communities, shooting more than 20 hours of interviews with families of immigrants, native Arkansans, and city officials. Una Vida Mejor recounts the obstacles these Hispanic families have overcome and their hopes for the future in America.
