Twenty-four short films by 24 female writers, performed by 24 women actors, all based on women’s real life experiences of sexism, harassment, and violence. A diversity of female voices and talent from across Europe come together for a series that tackles head-on the everyday brutality experienced by women.

Manon, takes refuge in Paris in 1789. When the people rise up to change the established order and conquer their freedom, Manon's convictions are shaken.

Sara has just come out of a divorce that affected her deeply when she meets Said. They fall in love and get married, but the question arises, will this new marriage be enough to exorcise the demons of the past and allow for a happy life?

Gaby is happy. After eighteen years of work, he is a flourishing mechanist. But one day, the mechanic of his life is out of order. He discovers that his assistant is in love with his wife. This one runs away with her daughter in law. So, Gaby's friends imagine a gambit to find them, at the moment where father and son enjoy pleasures of single life.

A theater troupe is touring Manon Lescaut, starring Denise, whose husband is a sick alcoholic. Tired of his violent outbursts, and wanting to rebuild her life, she runs away and finds refuge with a doctor who hires her as a nurse in his clinic. However, another jealous nurse commissions a detective to investigate, and ends up uncovering Denise's past.

Michèle is the new French consul in a South American country. She quickly discovers that the government is, in fact, a dictatorship. Moreover, her seventeen-year-old daughter is involved in the revolution against the regime.

Sophisticated romantic comedy of suspicious husbands, straying wives, handsome lovers, with various misunderstandings thrown in for good measure. (Including a gender-reversal of the old Pirandello plot twist from "The Late Mathias Pascal" of the protagonist changing identities after supposedly perishing in a train wreck.)

Author of the footage – Marcel Belanger – is terribly pleased to look at the face of his wife: that, in fact, is the plot, and who would argue. And so he watches her smile, and when she slips away, the camera lens stumbles upon garden gnomes, flowers, and bustle of the street.

Successful author Antoine falls victim to a blackmailer, Jo. He decides to get rid of him according to his perfect crime scenario, gives up and finally lets him die accidentally. Antoine buries him under a bandstand being built in his garden. But Inspector Ducroc has his suspicions.

Steve, a happily married American man living in London meets Vicki, an English divorcée and run off to Marbella for a rollicking week of sex. They then return to London to set up a cozy menage, despite the fact that he loves his wife and children, and now realize that he and Vicki have also fallen in love.

War widow Reiko rebuilds and runs the grocery shop in the house of her husband's family. Many years later, their business is threatened by a newly built supermarket and Reiko's in-laws plan to convert their small shop into a supermarket, to her detriment.

A woman trapped in a home elevator is terrorized by a group of vicious hoodlums.

When his fiancée Valentine dumps him, prominent lawyer Geoffrey Sherwood goes on a bender and winds up married to a stranger, Miriam Brady. They decide to give their marriage a chance. Their landlady, a one-time Floradora girl, offers to help Miriam become refined. Successful again, Geoffrey is approached ("if only we were free") by Valentine. Miriam tells Valentine off in no uncertain terms. Geoffrey moves into his club where Valentine's husband tells him he is a fool to leave Miriam

Tokiko is a mother patiently waiting for her husband's return from the war when her 4-year old son becomes ill. She takes him to the doctor for treatment but has no way of paying. She resorts to prostitution. One month later her husband returns from WWII to find his desperate wife, who tells him the truth. Together they must deal with the consequences.

This documentary follows the remarkable local doctor who has been providing healthcare to nomadic families living in isolated regions of Mongolia.
