• Synopsis: En 1869, Justin Eagle vit dans son ranch appelé «The Eagle’s Nest», près de la ville de Button Willow, en Californie. En plus d’être éleveur, Justin est un agent secret du gouvernement américain. Il agit pour contrecarrer les voyous qui commencent à pulluler dans l’Ouest. Il est envoyé à San Francisco pour retrouver le sénateur Freeman, qui a disparu alors qu’il combattait Montgomery Blaine et ses hommes de main. Ceux-ci forcent les colons à leur vendre leurs terres à bas prix, en sachant que ces terres sont de grande valeur, car elles doivent être traversées par des chemins de fer…
