• Synopsis: Tom van Allen est un jazzman prometteur et surtout un homme heureux, vénéré par sa jeune et belle épouse, Liz. Devenu accro en peu de temps et manipulé sans ménagement par les policiers Garcetti et Morgan, ce dernier balance les dealers qu’il croise sur son chemin, à la seule exception de son fidèle compagnon, le jeune et naïf Jimmy The Finn. Grâce à celui-ci, Danny fait la rencontre de L’Ourson, un redoutable trafiquant de drogue, avec qui il conclut un deal de plusieurs centaines de milliers de dollars destiné à piéger les assassins de sa femme. Mais le stratagème ne tarde pas à se retourner contre lui…
