Dr Terrible S House Of Horrible

Dr. Terrible's House of Horrible is a British comedy-horror anthology series created by Graham Duff, who co-wrote the series with Steve Coogan. BBC Two broadcast the series in 2001. It spoofs the British horror films of Amicus Productions, Hammer Film Productions, and Tigon British Film Productions. The title parodies Amicus Productions' anthology film Dr. Terror's House of Horrors.

No longer able to bear to see himself age, doctor Faust decides to put an end to his life. But just as he’s about to swallow the poison that will kill him, the Devil enters the stage and makes him a deal. If Faust gives him his soul, he will be young again. The interested party ends up accepting and the puppets can begin their humorous reading of Faust’s myth.

The year is 1885, and necrophiliac Dr. Hitchcock likes to drug his wife for sexual funeral games. One day he accidentally administers an overdose and kills her. Several years later he remarries, with the intention of using the blood of his new bride to bring his first wife's rotting corpse back to life.

In this Dan Curtis production of the Robert Louis Stevenson classic, Jack Palance stars as Dr. Henry Jekyll, a scientist experimenting to reveal the hidden, dark side of man, who, in the process of his experiment, releases a murderer from within himself.
